ABOUT

h^^py is a Jimin-centered BTS zine meant to capture and celebrate some of the infinite ways Park Jimin is loved. This zine will be a beautiful collaboration between artists and writers in which they craft beautiful, lovely pieces for every Jimin pairing, including poly ships OT7, as well as Jimin by himself!The h^^py zine will have three sections, affectionately dubbed: cutie, sexy, and lovely. Though the main theme of this zine is loving Jimin, each section centers around a different stage of the journey that is loving Park Jimin:♥ The cutie section encompasses fluffy crushes and squishes! It will contain works featuring the euphoric feelings that surmise at the early stages of love. This includes, but is not limited to: the realization that you've got a crush, first dates, crush (or love!) at first sight, soulmates that have just met, the "getting to know you" stages, infatuation, etc.♥ The sexy section encompasses lust, spice, and steamy scenes! It will contain works depicting sexual intimacy between the characters and/or NSFW themes. By “NSFW,” we specifically and exclusively refer to content with sexual themes or of a sexual nature. This section is the side NSFW zine and is exclusively available digitally for participants and consumers that are eighteen years or older internationally (proof will be required).♥ The lovely section encompasses domesticity, queerplatonic relationships, and long-term! This section will contain works featuring the comfort, safety, and love of relationships that have been in it for the long run. This includes, but is not limited to: proposals, marriages, that sparkling moment when you realize they're The One, established relationships, fights, domesticity, etc.Have any questions? GENERAL

1. What is a zine?
A zine is a physical and/or digital collection of original artworks and written pieces crafted as part of a collaborative effort between multiple individuals (contributors)!
It is made available online for a limited time only.2. What is this zine's theme/concept?This zine's theme is showcasing different ways Park Jimin is loved. There are three subsections: cutie, which centers on fluff and crushes; sexy, which would be our NSFW 18+ Digital side zine; and lovely, which centers on domesticity and established relationships. For more details on each section, check out our about section!3. Does the art or writing for this zine necessarily have to depict a romantic relationship?No, it does not! Love is not solely romantic, and platonic love is just as wonderful, just as beautiful. That's why our cutie section includes squishes and our lovely section includes queerplatonic relationships! We're here to appreciate Jimin being loved, and there are different ways to love someone aside from romantically, so we will not limit application submissions or final submissions to just romantic relationships.4. How much will this zine cost?That's still undetermined!4. How will the profits be distributed between Contributors and Charity?It will be a 50/50 split profit between the charity of choice, and Moderators and contributors!5. If a profit is made, how will it be distributed to Contributors who are under 18 years of age internationally?Since there is no way to properly legally financially compensate minors, their profits would be automatically donated to charity!6. What themes/concepts are strictly prohibited for this zine?For your application, the following content is strictly prohibited: incest, pedophilia, bestiality, non-con, dub-con, any depiction of abuse or harassment between the main characters, mpreg, underage relationships.
If your best works include any of the above, and there is absolutely no way to refrain from including it, then we ask that you properly tag the appropriate trigger warnings for each and every snippet that contains any of the above.For your final submission to this zine, the same restrictions from your application apply. However, we now add major character death, omegaverse, and hybrids to the list of prohibited themes/concepts for this zine.
There will be no exceptions made for the content in your final submission.We want this zine to be a happy, safe, and fun experience for everyone involved. These content restrictions are in place to assure just that ♥

APPLICATIONS

1. How do I apply?Applications are currently closed, but the link to apply (and all the information you'll need to know) will be available in the APPLY section of our carrd.2. Can I apply if I am under eighteen years of age internationally?
You can apply to the main part of our zine, which includes the cutie section and the lovely section. You will not be able to apply to the sexy section, which is the NSFW side zine.3. Can I apply for both the main zine and the side NSFW zine?If you are eighteen years or older internationally, then yes, you can! However, please keep in mind that you will only be accepted to one of them.4. Can I apply to multiple contributor positions (i.e., to be a writer, a page artist, and/or a merch artist)?Yes, you can! But please remember that even if you apply to multiple positions, if selected, you will only be selected for one of them.5. Can I still apply to be a page artist if I'm a traditional artist?Of course you can! Just scan your art pieces, if possible, for your application portfolio. If you are not able to scan it, make sure you're able to take a high quality picture of it and include it in your portfolio so that we are able to see and assess it.6. As a writer, am I allowed to include excerpts from works in progress, unfinished works, and/or unposted works?You definitely can! In your application, we ask that you include written works that best showcase your strong suits and abilities as a writer. For this, it is not necessary for the work to be complete or published - just make sure that whatever piece you do include is whole and can be read as a stand alone.
Excerpts are important for us to be able to see what kind of writer you are; your style, your prose, and any other element in your writing that tells us that you'd be an awesome addition to this zine!7. As a writer, am I allowed to include poetry in my portfolio?You sure can!8. I don't have a lot of followers. Does this matter?Absolutely not. The amount of followers, hits, subscribers, etc., is not a part of the evaluation process and holds no weight in our decision.8. How will applications be reviewed?Applications will be reviewed objectively via an individualized voting system where each Moderator will vote on whether they believe this person’s art or writing is a good fit for the zine, and then there will be a final stage where all Moderators make a collective decision as to whether the applicant’s art/writing is a good fit for this zine! Therefore, all decisions will be made based solely and exclusively on an applicant’s samples/portfolio.

CONTRIBUTORS

1. How will contributors be compensated?This will be determined by our interest check, so if you have not submitted the form, go do so now!2. What charity will this zine's contributions go to?This is also still undecided! This will be later determined by interest check form feedback and Moderator suggestions.3. Will contributors get a free copy of the zine?Yes they will! As of now, we can only guarantee that contributors will be getting a free Digital copy of the main zine (and the NSFW side zine, if they are eighteen years or older internationally and they are interested in having it). Depending on how sales go, we will be trying our best to send each contributor a physical copy of the zine as well.4. What is a guest contributor? How are they chosen?Guest contributors are content creators that do not have to apply to be a part of this zine. Instead, they are directly, privately messaged by the Moderators of the zine with an invitation asking them if they'd like to join the team! It is entirely up to them whether to participate or not.Guest contributors are chosen by you! At the very bottom of our interest check form, there is a question that prompts you to answer what artist and/or writer you'd like for us to invite to be in the zine. The three artists and three writers that get mentioned the most will receive an invitation to join. Therefore, if you haven't submitted the interest check form, make sure to do so!5. Will Moderators participate in the zine as well?They may choose to participate.6. Is NSFW allowed in the main zine?No, it is not. NSFW content is only and exclusively allowed in the side NSFW Digital zine. We want to maintain the Main zine SFW for the general audience.7. What happens if a Contributor decides to drop from the zine?We will be choosing pinch hitters to fill their spot!8. What are pinch hitters?Pinch hitters are content creators that were not initially chosen to be part of the zine but are placed "on hold" in case a contributor drops from the zine.9. How are pinch hitters chosen/contacted?Pinch hitters will be notified that they've been chosen as pinch hitters when Contributor results are sent out. Just like regular contributors, pinch hitters will have three days to confirm their participation as pinch hitters.
If the need for a pinch hitter ever arises, then we will contact those who confirmed their participation and ask if they'd like to come on board at that time!
